The husband was slowly building the momentum.

He was also aware that those people just couldn't go all out with their techniques from the master as the immense coldness would disclose their location. However, the same could be said about the husband's escape!

If he were to escape this place or even beat them, then the entrance's location would get disclosed!

Thus, they were between the hammer and the anvil!

"The third one… is also here. I shouldn't endanger myself any further."

The husband muttered to himself, then his eyes swept through the vicinity. It was already colder here, but the autumn forest wasn't that disturbed appearance-wise. The leaders were strong on their own, but their techniques that spread the coldness around were what allowed them to easily take the control of cities and plunder them.

Of course, such a concept couldn't be used freely, so Kyoya knew that all they could do was just go at him with their bodies. Their bodies were spreading the cold influence that in normal situations would be lethal to most adventurers.

But not the husband!

'I don't need to use speed on my whole body… but one hand!'

As Kyoya shouted these words inwardly, his eyes glued to the closest leader. This man's rush was already in the motion, his cold flames swaying more vividly. If Kyoya got grabbed by this hand, then the cold flames would certainly freeze him on the spot.

But, Kyoya's domain from the Hide Control Concept distracted the man's awareness and then his hand went forward.

The husband's forte was speed.

As he focused his whole speed onto his hand, Kyoya began to experience the peak of his strength! In one second, his hand blurred. Two second later, Kyoya's hand already buried the knife straight into the man's throat!

Not stopping even a little, Kyoya moved his body slightly, then ended the man's life whose eyes were wide with disbelief. Then, his other free hand took out the temporary knife from the inventory, then threw it.

This knife stopped the second leader, then Kyoya engaged in close combat with the third one that came in.

"You aren't the adventurer with fire belief."

"I am not."

The close combat was also more perfect after the husband's training.

He could speak leisurely with the cold leader, his one hand performing a good knife skills. The other free hand supported Kyoya's moves as he slithered around the leader when necessary!

The husband couldn't go for a perfect Hide Control concept like the assassin, but he could make things harder for the second leader by pulling his attention to a few places, then using the avatars!

It meant that Kyoya's mana was getting depleted at high speed, though!

"If you don't have a deep connection with this continent and floor, then I advise you to stay away and wait for a little."

"Your advice is not enough for me to reconsider it. Elaborate."

Kyoya wouldn't wait a little anyway, but he wanted to know more. This brought up some displeasure on the leader's face as lines appeared on his forehead. He then became completely mute until the second leader shouted something unfathomable.

"The body disappeared!"

"What did you say? How could.. it disappear?"

The dead body was caused by Kyoya's fast knife thrust! This thrust broke the speed that everyone including the husband could comprehend, so the man's death was abnormal! And yet there was something even more as his body just disappeared!

This could mean that Kyoya was not alone, but the leaders dismissed this possibility as their senses were as high as possible!

"Thanks for telling me all of this."

The husband finally chimed in, his knife already back in the inventory.

His whole self looked as if relaxed from the hard training. There was a relieved and content smile on his face as if he learned the most and got the most out of this battle! If one excluded the dead body, then Kyoya would get just experience and some hints, but now, it was a different matter.

"Don't let him go… away…"

"He's gone…"

The leaders were close to unleashing the techniques provided by their master, but Kyoya's speed was as masterful as their 'technique scrolls'.

Kyoya could use the fire to fight these cold leaders.

But he chose to keep this as his secret! He was also submerged in ideas to train his concepts from The Assassin Craft, so the truth was that Kyoya remembered about his cards during the battle with the cold leader!

Exactly when he got asked about the fire belief, Kyoya remembered the cards he made with Xaya! Those cards were made out of the flame wood from the 19th floor and the couple polished those to unleash the power!

"Ah, who would predict the appearance of invaders? Those cards were supposed to be used in a different way."

It was a great weapon against the fire believers!

The husband scratched the back of his head while stomping on the ground, then the city once again spread its gates in front of his eyes. This time, the city was no more cold, but hot! Flames with similar design to the 'capital' spread throughout the whole city which meant that the Yuyu Kingdom forces were here.

However, for Kyoya, it felt like things suddenly began to move too fast.

He looked at the city swallowed by the flames in awe for a little, then decided to enter.

"They surely have close connection to the believers from the top floors… Rosa told me such techniques can not be used by adventurers around our strength, so techniques from the top shrines? This must be it."

The husband thought out loud as the flames around him were kinda loud.

He then headed straight to the middle of this city where the big mansion was located.

An army from The Yuyu Kingdom was already here, but Kyoya quickly spotted Rosa as she stood out from the army and people clad in orange-red clothes. She peeked at him, then some annoyance appeared within her eyes.

Kyoya saw it immediately, a question mark appeared above his head as if NPC.

"What did I do?"

He didn't know about the connection that conveyed his thoughts and feelings, but Rosa was simply annoyed that the sweet and genuine emotions could no longer be felt from the husband's eyes and smile.

As a woman, she knew what to do, but Rosa couldn't help but just get annoyed. At least, for now.

However, Kyoya couldn't think much about her. She was not only standing out due to her clothes, but also the situation she was in. Rosa was sitting by the table brought up by the army.

This white table with flame design had another person close to it.

It was a woman with a long dress, looking close to her thirties. No way she looked old and so Kyoya immediately put her in the 'big sister' category similar to the assassin's daughter. When he saw Rosa answering her, Kyoya also got some idea.

"Hello, my name is Kyoya."

The husband introduced himself when he got close. He also extended his hand not so respectfully, but rather like a friend. Many eyes around them trembled when they saw this friendly act.

But the husband didn't stop.

When the woman's eyes landed on him, he smiled and spoke more.

"If I am wrong, then I am sorry. But you both seemed rather friendly and already acquaintanced, so I just guessed."

"..."

The woman didn't answer at all, so the husband awkwardly scratched his cheek.

"Um, if I am a bother, then I will leave… But Rosa's friends are welcomed in my house. This is where we currently are."

The husband passed the location of his territory and house, but the whole situation was weird.

It was so weird as the surroundings became silent too! The flame that was helping the whole city with the coldness also became docile and silent… The whole area was as if there was the husband, the woman and Rosa.

"Oh, the husband, the husband. You are so greedy, aren't you?"

Rosa finally said something, but her voice was so annoyed it could be felt on the husband's skin! He felt like just getting a chair for himself and having some serious talk with her as he was the one who took her here!

She should just be honest with him!

But Rosa's words made him silent for a little.

"This is Her Majesty. One of the queens from this continent. Stupid husband."

Kyoya shifted his eyes from annoyed Rosa to the woman whose eyes were now a tad different. He didn't even comment that Rosa sounded like her enemy, Xaya, with her last words!

"Her Majesty? "

"It seems like you are the reason for her mood."

"The thing is I don't know why. Maybe Her Majesty will be able to help me."

"Oh."

Instead of taking a chair close to Rosa, the husband sat down next to the queen and asked for some help. He also wanted to know what happened in his absence!

In the meantime, Rosa muttered to herself.

'That's the husband… Yes, yes… Get closer with all the women… You stupid… fucking… Ahh.. Fuck it.'

"Kyoya."

"Hmm? Look, she spoke to me."

"She indeed spoke to you, Mr. Kyoya."

"Sit next to me."

The husband didn't wait much before bringing his chair close to Rosa, his actions causing the queen to laugh a little.
