I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 303: A New Guild

Chapter 303: A New Guild

He opened his Console and had to stop himself from cursing when he saw that all quests were finished. The Manual hasn't given him the tenth and final quest yet.

"What should I do now?" Elliot asked himself. He grunted and laid himself on the floor, staring at his ceiling. "I feel helpless when I don't do anything."

A head hovered over him, making him stand and crawl to the side, "What the hell, Jameson?"

"I need help," Jameson said. "I can't carry all these crates on my own. Will you help me for a bit?"

Seeing as he didn't have anything to do except let the cocoon absorb the rest of the brews every couple of hours, Elliot agreed. Jameson grinned at the respond, offering his hand for Elliot to take, "Let's go to the port."

"The what?"

The wind from the sea was salty. The atmoshphere felt wet and Elliot's skin felt damp. Jameson had connections within Solaguer, connections that rooted deep into its Avancian soil.

When Elliot and Jameson got downstairs, everyone was there, even the non-participating members of their guild. When Elliot was about to ask what was going on, Jameson said that he needed a lot of hands to carry the crates. He said Elliot couldn't do it alone, to which what was his friends used to tease him with his height.

They went inside a drug store where the man inside opened a curtain that revealed a portal to the new port city, Leinhal. The portal was even more impressive than the one in Isabelle's shop. The range of this portal was almost three times the distance her portal travels.

"I will receive a cargo in a few minutes," Jameson said. "I also asked for some help."

"Some help?" Elliot tilted his head. "What help?"

"Good afternoon, Mr. Elliot." A soft male voice spoke behind him.

Elliot turned around and saw the younger boy with the black scarf that his his mouth. His red eyes glimmered under the orange skies, wet with tears that he forcefully held back.

"D-Daniel?"

Daniel couldn't help himself, launching himself to Elliot with open arms. "Thank you for helping us, Mr. Elliot."

"I didn't do anything though," Elliot chuckled and shook his head with a smirk on his lips. He returned the hug and opened his arms more for the other members of the Vulture Torch Guild.

"These are kids," Luck said to Frederick. They were standing behind the group, watching over them as they shared a touching moment. "What in the actual hell was their guild master thinking?"

"Probably nothing," Frederick sighed. "I looked it up. He's an old man who's a good for nothing *asshole. Much like you, but you have me to suppress you. That guy can do whatever he wants."

"I hope this is the worst thing he's ever done," Luck muttered. "These kids are kids who don't know sh*t. Most of them only turned eighteen. I don't even know how they passed the first elimination round."

"Unfortunately, this isn't the worst thing he's done," Frederick opened his hands and a burs of flames lit up above his hands. The flames formed a shape of an envelope, and an envelope fell in his hand not long after.

"What's this?" Luck asked as the red haired man gave him the file. "These are the violations he had done in the past."

Luck took a gulp and opened the envelope, his eyes widening after reading the contents. "Conquest, he sent Level 40 and below, all dead. A Campaign, he sent Level 75 and below, no one returned. Comet quest, he sent ten Level 25 all missing. What in the hell is the Raven Justice doing? Why isn't he taking actions?"

"That's the problem," Frederick looked at Luck in the eye. "The guild master is Christina's father."

"Lift!" Jameson raised his hand to guide the Adventurers. The portal they exited to in Leinhal was in a wall that faced the port, so it wasn't a long travel from the boat to the Solaguer portal.

"Wait!" Jameson yelled before Elliot could pass through. He was carrying the first crate, just a step away from entering the portal. "We need to redirect the exit to the inn. But since Isabelle's gems are inside, we can only place them in the backyard part."

"Okay," Elliot responded.

Jameson peeked inside the portal and told the owner to redirect the portal. He went back out and waited, holding out his hand.

For a split second, the white portal was filled with spiral dark purple lines. When the lines vanished, Jameson lowered his hand. "Let me check."

He took another peek inside, looking at the area before he went back and sent the go signal for the others to carry the portals.

"Now, you can pass through," Jameson spoke. "This will take you to the backyard of the inn where we stayed. Our goal for this hour is to move all the crates from the boat to the backyard, we'll move them all inside later."

"You better buy us dinner," Luck deadpanned. "Everyone, let's go!"

The members of the Azure Scorch Guild that were in Solaguer, along with the Vulture Torch team helped Jameson with his crates. The gems in this crates were a very crucial part of the Twilight War for this will drive away the enemies.

"These gems better be worth it," Ed grunted. "These crates are freaking heavy!"

"Who says they're gems?" Janeson spoke, making everyone stop dead in their tracks. "Those are my clothes. These ones are really itchy, so I need some fresh ones."

Everyone was silent, no one spoke. They all stared at the prince who had a serious look in his face, "Why is everyone staring at me like that?"

"Are you even serious right now?" Ed glared at him. "Price Jameson of Spice Islands, are you kidding us?"

"Yeah," Jameson let out a laugh. "Those are gems, duh. As if I wasn't trained to wear rags and crawl on mud. But anyway, let's continue."

The relief that washed over everyone's faces were evident. Jameson made the joke so believable that even Frederick and Luck were still looking at each other in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Elliot was talking to Daniel when Lance spoke to Frederick. "Are you still not going to open for female members?"

"Female members will sway us from our ultimate goal," Frederick said. "It's been a while since you brought this up again. And once again, I'll turn you down. Female members will create friction in the atmosphere of the guild, not good."

"We missed a lot of good Adventurers because of our all-male status," Lance continues his argument. "Alice wanted to join us before, but you turned her down. Next was the twins from the north, Almipple and Frost, they were willing to join but since we have all-male status"

"It's best to keep it that way," Frederick looked at Lance in the eye with a glaring look. "Don't push it."

Frederick took his crate and walked away, leaving Lance clenching his fist but was never going to give up. "What about these kids?"

The red-haired man stopped walking, waiting for Lance to continue. He had figured out that the boy wasn't going to easily drop the topic.

"You know what happened to the other kids that their guild sent on various missions," Lance said. "Luck told me all about them, and Frederick, don't you feel pity? They're children."

"That little rat," Frederick whispered, putting his crate down and walking over to Lance. His height towered the already tall Lance, his red seemingly ever blazing eyes stared intensely at the prince.

"Lance, listen to me first," Frederick spoke calmly. "There are things in this world that we can't control. And two of those things are death and little idiots. I'm not in the position to say anything so you better talk to your tallest friend."

"Tallest Hope?" Lance tilted his head. His guild master sighed before taking his crate back and continuing with their task.

Lance's face was contorted in confusion. He looked around and walked over to Hope who was carrying two crates at once. He was still growing even after all this time, even becoming taller than Lance with a body almost the same size as George.

"Hope, can we talk for a bit?" Lance whispered. The gray-haired boy nodded, stopping with his work and putting his crates down.

"What is it?" Hope asked.

"I heard you were doing something to help the kids," Lance said with a wide smile. "I'm so proud of you"

"Like an orphanage?" Hope tilted his head. "I'm sorry dad, but I'm not."

"Oh," the smile on Lance's face fell. Hope smiled awkwardly and proceeded to take the crates, lifting them up and excusing himself.

"I told him," Elliot's voice made Lance look back. The short boy stood there, smiling. "After this, and before we go to the East for our task, I will register a new guild."

"A-A what?" Lance asked. "Elliot, what are you saying?"

"I will register a new guild," Elliot repeated. "One that reaches out to newbie Adventurers and help them. The others don't know yet, but I hope you'll help me."

"But I'm Elliot, are you sure about this?" Lance couldn't help but continue asking. "This is a big risk. How will you do it?"

"I can't," Elliot flattened his lips. "Not alone."
