Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Wow, this is epic, I can't believe I didn't have to do anything to make them publicly express their love like this," Evelyn said smiling broadly. Evelyn's smile instantly turn to a frown when she saw a lady running in the couple's direction.

"What the heck is she doing here? Why did she have to come and ruin that beautiful scene that was about to happen? Why is that lady always a killjoy?" Evelyn said frowning?

"She is so damn annoying," Steve murmured as he stare at the lady now standing in front of the couple.

"I guess your time is up now, Ice Prince. We were caught before we could even start anything," Jasmine said when she raised her gaze and saw the lady standing beside where they lied.

"Damn this lady? Why did she have to come at this time? And who the heck invited her here? I feel like strangling her to death," Jackson said his frown deepening as he slowly sat up properly. Jasmine sat up too.

Jane glared daggers at Jasmine who did not look guilty for what she did.

Anyways she did nothing wrong so why would she apologised or feel remorseful for the scene she met them at.

"Jack, what were you doing with her?" Jane asked trying not to show how angry she was.

"Why do you care? I owe you no explanation or whatsoever," Jackson said angrily not hiding his hatred for the young lady. He stood up and walk away.

"Ice Prince...," Jackson had already walked far away before Jasmine could complete her words.

"He was alright just a minute ago. Does the lady's presence irritates him so much to the point that he loathes seeing her?" Jasmine thought aloud before she stood up and walk towards the direction Jackson took. They both left Jane all alone there. None of them spared her a glance.

"She deserves this and even worst," Jeff mumbled grinning satisfactorily. Catherine now standing beside him turned to face him.

"Why does it seem like you guys hate her? Isn't she Jackson's fiance so why are you guys not close to her?" Catherine asked curiously.

"It's better you don't know what she is like because I am sure you will hate her more than we do," Jeff replied as he sat back down on the sand.

Evelyn grin when she saw the resentful look on Jane's face when she got closer to them.

Meanwhile, Jasmine who followed Jackson was too late. Before she could get to him, he had entered his car and drove away. What he did not know was that another surprise awaits him when he comes back.

Jackson who left the hotel only came back in the night. When he came back, he met everyone sitting on the ground floor discussing. The first place his eyes went to was Jasmine's location. His relieved expression turned to an angry one when he saw the guy sitting beside Jasmine at her right-hand side. He was always good at hiding his emotions but this time around he could not hide the resentment in his eyes.

"Are you gonna stand there all night?" Jasmine asked in a carefree tone when she saw how Jackson was staring at Kai.

Only three people understood why Jackson was acting this way and these three people were no other than his two naughty friends and Evelyn.

Jackson reluctantly approach where Jane was sitting since that was the only space that remains.

"Kai, is it alright for you to carelessly leave your basecamp to such a far place?" Alfred asked curiously and harmlessly.

"Alfred, it wasn't a careless decision. After I received the call from Jane asking me to embark with her on a trip to the same location Jasmine embarked on a trip also, I thought a lot about it," Kai said in a calm tone.

Jeff, Steve, Evelyn and Jackson turned and threw the mentioned lady a fierce glance. Their eyes showed their resentment for Jane. Jackson in particular felt irritated sitting beside the lady who deliberately ruined his plans.

"I know defending the country is important but also taking out time to be with my fiance is equally important too. I am hoping to get to know more about her through this trip," Kai concluded with a smile on his face.

"It has been over three months since you both met and yet you haven't gotten to know more about her, how are you so certain that you will achieve your aim of coming here? Won't you regret your decision if you go back without learning a thing or more about Jasmine?" Jeff asked coldly. Everyone present there could feel his anger through his voice.

In the past, none of them had a problem with Kai. In fact, they had thought that he was a good guy. They got along pretty well but everything changed the day they learned that he was Jackson's love rival. If it was someone else they would have cared less about it but knowing just how much Jackson loves Jasmine, they could not turn a blind eye to it.

"Jeff, don't you know that time spent with loved ones is not wasted?" Kai asked as he stare at the guy who challenged him.

"Whether or not I achieve my aim of coming on this trip which is getting closer to my future wife...," Kai wrapped his right hand around Jasmine's shoulders. This single action of his made Jackson's blood boils in rage.

"I am satisfied as long as I spent my time with my loved ones," Jeff rolled his eyes at the completion of Kai's sentence.

"Who among everyone here is your loved one? Are you perhaps referring to your cousin, Jane?" Jeff said to the surprise of Jasmine. Jasmine turned and stare at Kai before she shifted her gaze to the smiling Jane.

"Jeff, don't be mean," Catherine said nudging him by the ribs before he could utter even more hateful words.

"Guys, I am tired. I will take my leave now," Jackson said as he stood up and walk towards the direction of the stairs.

"Excuse me guys," Jasmine also took permission almost immediately.. They were all surprised when it looked like she was chasing after Jackson.
