Chapter 190: A Drastic Change In Events
Chapter 190: A Drastic Change In Events
Bloom kept summoning his dark agents while he stayed in the center of the fight doing nothing else. Occasionally a group of players or NPCs would move to hit him, slipping through the large number of his fighters and using the chaos prevailing now over everything here.
But all of them were destined to be sent flying back, and he only had some harm from the staff holders and light daughter's far skills.
But eventually one potion would solve everything without any further ado.
'Where are you now?' he asked and Muna answered the next moment with the current coordinates of the caravan she was coming in. "Pretty much fast runners," he sneered before taking a wide glance over the fight here.
The fight was chaotic, while everywhere he spotted had a group of his agents fighting players and NPCs. "Those shrine of life elders are really strong," he sighed as after the passage of five minutes of this fight, his clones vanished and with them the advantage of the level difference of NPCs returned again.
"I had to step in," he had already taken all the agents he bought before, and now he had nothing else to do.
He gently hit his horse with his ankles, and headed directly towards one side where a large number of NPCs were grouped around a small team of ten life shrine elders.
"Stab." "Stab." "Stab." "Stab." "Stab."
He didn't need to use any more skill than this. With one second cooldown he was able to use it frequently like normal attacks.
Everywhere his swords reached the NPC hit was sent flying. After less than one minute, a gap was created in the tight defensive line here, and Bloom was now in the center hitting those elders away, sending each into a totally different direction.
"Secure the wagons," he shouted, as the number of players and NPCs was declining faster than the losses on his side.
His joining in the war added more to the momentum his agents initially enjoyed. And before ten minutes, most of the players were killed, and a small portion of the NPCs were now gathered around the wagons, defending them.
"They surely come fast," Bloom smirked when he heard the sound of hooves coming hot from the distance. "Just in time," he then turned his horse and shouted:
"Half keep attacking here relentlessly until you secure the wagons, and the rest come with me."
He started to push his horse to run fast towards the distance, while hundreds of his agents and dolls ran after him, either on horses or on foot.
Just as he moved less than one mile far from the ongoing fight at the wagons, he was met by a large number of riders. "Kill them all, don't let them breakthrough," he stopped abruptly while shouting at others.
Alone he stood at the back holding the line while he watched his agents fighting the incoming riders in a tough battle from the start. "I need more time to summon my clones," he checked his skill and sighed when he saw the remaining minutes of using it.
'Where are you?' Bloom sent to Muna before adding, 'I don't see you anywhere.'
'We are still approaching you, how can you spot me then?'
Her answer startled Bloom who hurriedly asked, 'Aren't you the ones attacking us?'
'What? No, we are still five minutes away from you.'
'Then who are they?' he speechlessly glanced around and his unsettled feeling rose up once more. 'Where in Panty and his men? Are they the ones attacking me?'
'One moment,' she sent to him and after a long minute she returned to say, 'he is also on the path to your place.'
'Then who the hell are they?' Bloom didn't understand until a sudden realization hit him. "Damn! They are the death shrine forces!"
Amidst his utmost efforts to unlock the mystery of the quest item location, he totally forgot about the other player here. "Should I ally with them?" he glanced at their numbers before evilly laughing, "I should play it nicer than this."
"Keep up the good work boys, our shrine of life reinforcements are just a couple of minutes away to come and crush those thieves," he shouted at his agents, and his words meant nothing to them at all.
However, at the shrine of death riders, they felt great unease after hearing that.
Their numbers were already exceeding two hundreds, making the task of his agents to stop them hard. In addition to that, their levels were much higher, and he lacked his precious clones at this decisive moment.
After his shout, the death shrine NPCs got separated into two teams, the majority went ahead and pressed hard on his agents, managing to slip through in increasing numbers.
And the minimal rest of them went back, and formed a defensive line to welcome the incoming Panty and his two teams.
"It's not as perfect as I expected, but it's much better than nothing," Bloom sighed as he started to move, waving his swords right and left and hit the leaking elders, sending them flying off the backs of their horses.
The fall itself created more damage to them, and he started to hear curses again, this time related to the shrine of death.
"Even if it ended up like the shrine of life case, I won't be regretting this," he sneered while moving right and left, hunting down those sneakers, and defending perfectly the backline all alone.
"Rumble."
It didn't pass more than five minutes and he heard the sounds of hooves mixed with the running sounds of players on the ground. "They are finally here," he heaved a long sigh of relief like he was really welcoming the arrival of his allies, not sworn enemies.
"See boys? They arrived. We will crush those bastards now, on me."
He moved towards the front, not caring anymore about any slipping NPCs. He had the advantage of chaos, and at this moment he acted as a true agent of chaos.
His shout, his sudden charge, and the presence of many riding horses gave the wrong impression to those coming with the caravan.
'You are such evil,' Muna sent and Bloom finally noticed her and her loud laugh. 'You made them think you belong to them.'
'Good,' Bloom smiled before adding, 'What about Panty? Is he here yet?'
'Couple more minutes and he should be here with the remaining lot of his caravan.'
Bloom simply nodded and kept attacking the shrine of death NPCs from the front while the players, coupled with a smaller group, not exceeding a hundred, of the shrine of life elders pressed on from the rear.
Simply put, the death shrine elders were sandwiched between the two forces, and Bloom had most of the pressure left off by this sudden diversion of fight.
"Collect the loot," he said to a couple of dolls on horses nearby, "don't leave anything behind."
The two nodded, and they moved with a small team of twenty fallen agents to collect the loot from the bodies of dead NPCs. Bloom made sure to hit the fiercest and highest in level NPCs, sending them all flying towards the direction of the shrine of life elders and their allied players.
This made the chaos at their end much fiercer, and in no time Bloom's side was having the least pressure and fight.
"Collect the loot," he hurriedly ordered his agents when he heard the hooves of the incoming enemies.
At last Panty was about to reach here.
"I just can't understand how the death shrine elders were supposed to obtain this quest item with such few numbers," Bloom thought to himself while he watched his men moving fast, gathering loot and giving everything back to him.
"Anyway, I've got the biggest share in this win, hehehe," he sneered when he saw the large number of high level and rank gears in his inventory. "Not only gears, but also a quest for destruction and the devastation I will cause to Panty and Dockrey, hehehe," he was in a very good mood until he spotted the incoming riders.
Their numbers were so few compared with those who came with Muna. After all he had hit them once before and decreased their numbers.
But that wasn't the thing that startled him, or even the low number of players and NPCs running fast after the horses. "Where is Panty?" he was shocked not to see Panty leading the charging forces, or even when everyone came he wasn't there.
'Where is Panty?' he sent to Muna while glancing all around, looking for him.
'I I dunno,' Muna hurriedly sent to him, 'these are his group, but neither he nor the caravan is here.'
The words of Muna alarmed Bloom to one point he missed amidst his focus on panty. "The caravan!!!" he shockingly realized everything before hitting the horse hard with his ankles, driving the horse even to run with a jump start.
'Where are you going?'
'After the quest item,' Bloom bitterly said before shaking off his head, 'we were all played by him. Bravo, really bravo,' he sent back before heading with his horse towards the front, hitting anything that stood in his way with his swords and horse.
"Just wait for me, bastard," Bloom gnashed his teeth as he arched his back over the horse and let the horse gallop with its mightiest speed.
'I'll leave things here for you and the girls,' he sent to Muna while he heard many shouts coming from the few numbers of players who just came from Panty's direction. 'Make sure to seize both caravans and send everything to me.'
'Got it.'
