Chapter 161 – Children at the Temple (1)
After a year, Ye Mu had become accustomed to Mo Linyuan’s inner cruel side, so thinking of a good strategy, she whispered into Mo Linyuan’s ear.
“How about we make a commotion? Let’s find a group of people pretending to be the empress dowager’s people and save him? With his lingering fear of the empress dowager, I’m sure he would be frightened till he would refuse to run away again.”
She broke into a wicked laugh when she thought of Mo Shiwen’s panic-stricken appearance. Matters now are sensitive. Therefore Mo Shiwen should not be allowed to make things worse.
As Mo Linyuan listened, his eyes brightened slightly. “That’s a good idea!”
He thought of it for a while and then asked Wen Feng to come forward to say a few words in his ear.
Ye Mu stared at Mo Linyuan from the side; he was now twelve and a half years old. Although he was still only a child, his eyes held too much heaviness and maturity that did not belong to his age. Nevertheless, his delicate, slightly-raised chin and phoenix eyes were still pleasing to the eye.
Ye Mu couldn’t help thinking, Why did such a person die so early in his forties?
After Mo Linyuan was able to issue the command, he saw the Ye Mu, who was waiting, looking at him fixedly; he immediately thought her little appearance too indescribably cute!
“What are you thinking?” He looked at Ye Mu and could not refrain from stretching out his hand to pinch her little button nose.
“Oh, nothing. I just…feel a little stuffy in my chest recently. It must be from the approaching the full moon again.” Ye Mu subconsciously touched her nose and whispered.
When Mo Linyuan heard this, his eyes dimmed. Every full moon, Ye Mu would wake up feeling extraordinarily ill-tempered and unpleasant. Even if the silent Buddhist master can help her suppress it when they are in the temple, the thought that she was at the control of others made Mo Linyuan feel uneasy.
“Then I’ll take you to the temple. Remember, although the silent Buddhist monk is a close disciple of the late great monk, you should be on guard against him; don’t believe him so easily.”
Ye Mu nodded, “Don’t worry, it’s okay; I’ll be back soon.”
Mo Linyuan nodded and personally sent Ye Mu off as far as the gates.
Her departure from the palace to the temple, she was accompanied by a large number of soldiers. Everyone knew that Mo Linyuan held great importance on this girl with unknown origin since every time she goes away from the palace, Mo Linyuan doubles the guards guarding her!

“Here again?”
When Ye Mu arrived at the temple, the monk came out from the depths of the jungle, carrying a medicine basket on his back. As a powerful monk, his appearance was otherworldly; his thin eyebrows, paired with an out of place, compassionate expression, still made him look unforgettable as if he was some mystical creature.
Ye Mu nodded, “I’m going to trouble you again. Somehow, I feel the murderous aura in my body is getting heavier. Every attack is stronger than the last.” She said, keeping a close eye on the monk.
After placing the basket down, the silent Buddhist master just sighed, “That is because you accumulate too much external force in your body, and the internal force of this poor monk that is placing in your body can only mildly play a stabilizing role. But it can certainly not be as strong as stopping it completely, so for you to experience that kind of feeling is expected…”
He paused, then added in a quiet voice, “Of course, with your meridians far from being restored to their healthy state, you are not able to use your internal force.” He then gestured, “Follow this poor monk to the backyard. The poor monk will help you concentrate and calm down.”
Ye Mu nodded when suddenly a monk hurriedly ran towards them!
“Master, master, it’s not good! A pregnant pilgrim fainted in the Buddhist temple! ”
“What?” The silent Buddhist master’s expression changed, subconsciously looked at Ye Mu.
Ye Mu waved her hand, “It’s all right, you go and see her first, I can endure it for the time being.”
