Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 88 Auction, Part 2

Arthur, Amanda and Rose sat in the uppermost area of the auditorium.

Right above them there is still the second floor, a place for VIPs. Arthur saw several people who had many bodyguards there. Amanda who knew more about big figures knit her brows as she looked at some of them.

"Boss, over there, they are the bosses of the mafia groups on this island." Rose said to Arthur while directing her eyes to a certain area on the second floor.

At first glance, the people there look like business people. They are well-groomed, have an elegant aura. The only difference is maybe their bodies are nicer, no one looks fat, on average they look strong.

"The Mafia here is not as bad as in the Americas," Rose continued. "While they may also be in the drug business, it's not much and they're not trying to get people into addicts."

"Are any of them you know well?" asked Arthur.

"The one over there, the boss of Calamity Night, one of the three strongest. But it's not me who's close to him, it's Hunter," Rose replied.

Arthur stared at the man. He was tall, probably in his late 50s. Even the way he sat up was quite straight, showing that he had exercised his physique a lot.

"Do you also want to build a relationship with the mafia, boss?" Rose asked.

"Depends, let's first see what kind of items they sell, if there really is anything interesting. Mm..."

Arthur glanced at the entrance when he saw four people who in his perception were Evolvers. Three are bald and one has neat hair.

The latter made him narrow his eyes for a moment because by his estimation, he could be twice as strong as the others.

That he could overcome all the side effects proved that his body had some uniqueness. There was even the possibility that he could create an element.

"Boss!" Rose put her cell phone on Arthur's thigh, which turned out to contain their data, but only their names and some insignificant information like their heights.

They were looking around as they entered the auction house and when their eyes happened to pass over Arthur they paused for a moment.

Then, several bodyguards came to greet them, leading them to the second floor.

One of the mafia bosses then approached them, a middle-aged man with curly blond hair. He was smoking a cigar.

"He's the boss of the Black Diamond," said Rose. "As far as I know, he's been to the Middle East a lot."

"Is that in the top three?"

"Yes!"

___

"Ehmmm..." A soft coughing sound suddenly echoed from backstage, causing everyone to turn their gazes towards it.

A beautiful woman with curly red hair in a ponytail then stepped onto the stage from behind.

She wore a black off-shoulder dress that was quite tight, accentuating every curve of her charming body.

She didn't hide her legs because the slit of her dress was wide open. And she was wearing heels that were maybe fifteen cm high, making her legs so long that every man couldn't help but gulp their saliva. Some of the bolder ones whistled with smiles that looked like they were on the verge of laughing.

If anyone whose penis did not stand up at the sight of her, that person could be considered a holy man.

"Respected ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Heaven Gate Auction House," she said softly and when she brought the microphone close to her mouth, her fair and flawless armpits were fully exposed.

Spontaneously, Amanda and Rose looked at Arthur, as if wanting to see his reaction when he saw such a beautiful and sexy woman.

However, much to their surprise, Arthur actually looked relaxed and calm, as if all he saw was an ordinary woman who wasn't pretty.

In the end, they've even had sex. He had seen her naked figure and wild side, her figure on stage was completely insignificant.

Mia's gaze briefly rested on Arthur and she smiled even more charmingly before continuing, "Those of you who have attended this auction know our reputation. All of our products are always original, coming from ruins or ancient tombs so the value of each product will definitely increase every year.

"As usual, tonight, we will be auctioning off newly discovered ancient artifacts, some from ancient tombs that are completely untraceable as to who owns them."

After saying that, she waved her hand.

Several men came up to the stage carrying a box. They placed it on the table before opening the box, revealing a golden bowl with carvings that looked like cobwebs.

"This was stolen from a museum in Egypt. They always hide it, so there must be some uniqueness in terms of its origins," said Mia. "It weighs around 700G, so just if we look at the gold, it's worth around 40K Euros. Let's start with 80K Euros, each bid should be above 10K!"

"90K!"

"100K!"

"110K!"

It got bidding pretty quickly, obviously because Mia spoke as if it had some mystery to it.

Arthur wasn't interested at all as he didn't sense the slightest bit of spirituality from the bowl, just something made out of plain gold.

In the end, it sold for 180K. The buyer was an old man who seemed to really like old things because his own hands were wearing ancient rings and bracelets.

After the bowl came the urn, something said to date back to the ancient Chinese era.

One by one, the items were successfully auctioned off. It has to be said that this auction house is really a big profit, even the most ordinary item sells for 50K.

When the item being auctioned was a blue sword but full of rust, Arthur, who had not been interested until now, finally showed interest.

"Is this a spiritual item, boss?" Rose asked seeing his expression.

"You could say that," Arthur replied. "You'll know when you use it with your warrior aura. Right now it might be of no use to you since you can't release aura yet, but it should definitely work for your brother."

"I see!" Rose nodded.

"You have enough money, right?" Amanda suddenly asked her so she rolled her eyes.

"Do you think we have no money at all, we still have several million Euros," she replied.
