The Mysterious Black Magician

"Bro!"

Yana called out to him when she spotted him heading in their direction. Rea immediately glanced and saw him. She also noticed his deity sitting on his shoulder.

"Let's go and grab something to eat?" He said upon arriving at them.

"Yay!" Yana responded enthusiastically.

Rea just nodded slightly.

While they were walking towards the nearest pub, he noticed Rea's silence. "Are you okay?" He whispered to her.

She blinked her eyes and glanced at him.. "I'm fine," she responded. But Yman noticed her unmotivated aura. He wondered why she was acting so glum. "Uh, do you want to rest?"

Rea glanced at him and wondered why this guy was acting so caring. It was very out of his character. The Crimson she knew was a type of person who didn't give a damn about his surrounding. Yet, this man beside him just offered her a rest.

'Wait, is this the same Crimson she used to know? Or is this a fake Crimson?' 

Currently, Sistela was in Yana's hand. Also, Sistela wasn't in the mood. She was mad at her partner. At the moment, she wasn't in her cute fairy-like appearance. Her partner had forcefully equipped the Imp series shell on him. It was the Imp series he stole from that guy they beat in the Little Garden Herbs and Flower shop of the Professor's daughter, Miss Alfe.

<Sister Yana, look, I'm so ugly now!>

Right now, she believed that she looked so ugly, with green and black skin and round big green eyes, plus a pair of fangs and a little horn. Even her wings turned the same as the bat. She had a tail too. She wanted to cry because of this disgrace. Her partner was so mean to her.

Beads of sweats were visible on Yana's face as she was hearing Sistela's complaints.

Yana was trying to soothe the sulking Sistela. "Don't worry Sister Sistela, you still look so cute even with that…" Said Yana as she lifted her to her face.

<Really?>

"Mhm!" She nodded.

Sistela was looking at her with teary eyes. Then suddenly, she snapped. <Still! I must file a partner's abuse against my partner!>

Yana was stunned for a second before she laughed descendingly. "A-ha-ha…" Looks like Sister Sistela's disapproval toward her appearance right now wasn't just a light one. But her brother told them that he wanted the additional skill of the Imp series. With this, after equipping the Imp series, the additional skills from her previous appearance would be unavailable also.

Nonetheless, she glanced beside her and saw her brother and Miss Rea staring at each other. Yana's mouth formed like a big oh! But she remained quiet. She wanted her brother to become happy. As a supportive sister, she would do everything for her brother's happiness!

She knew that her brother had suffered a lot. He even went to a far place just to find the medicine for her. She was truly blessed with a kind brother.

Regardless, why are they just staring at each other? They were in the middle of the street you know!

Rea stared at him because Yman seemed so out of character today. Yman, on the other hand, was staring at her out of worry for her silence.

In truth, after Yman healed his sister. He became so free like he felt so successful. Before, his mind was only about how to heal his sister. He was always worrying about that thing. That's why, after he succeeded, he felt so free from the worries. It also caused him to become more perceptive around him. It must be also the reason that he noticed her silence on the get-go.

"Uhm, brother, Miss Rea, I think we are in front of what seemed like a pub…" they suddenly heard a familiar voice beside him. Yman and Rea snapped. They saw Yana staring at them with her big round eyes. On the contrary, he noticed her deity was staring at him like he did some unforgivable sin. But she must be annoyed with her new appearance, he thought. Well, it was temporarily only. 

The two glanced around and noticed that they were in the middle of the street. Around them, many people were passing by, heading back and forth. 

They also noticed the other trainees together with their circle of friends. Most of them were heading to the nearest cafeteria or pub. Yman noticed that most of the topics were about the competition and the best person.

Suddenly, Rea noticed something. "What are those?" She asked as she pointed to something.

When Yman and Yana glanced to where she was pointing, they saw a tarpaulin with a handsome picture on it. It's no other than, The Mysterious Black Magician!!!!!

Yman's mouth was left hanging when he saw his face on it. Thanks to its colors and so on, he was barely recognizable.

"Wait, wasn't that the Mysterious Balck Knight who appeared in the empire a couple of weeks ago?" Rea remembered. There was even a time when her aunt the empress asked her if she knew someone like that.

But who would expect that she would see that person's picture in here?

"Ah, him? I heard that he was a mysterious person who is blessed with wholesome handsomeness," Yman puffed up his chest as he said so. Rea wondered what was the reason for that smugness on his face.

However, Yman's cheekiness was broken in an instance when his trusted partner blurted something.

<Ah, that person, I heard he wasn't so great. He's a bad person who forced his unwilling partner to wear something weird. I also heard that he was a great offender who stole a kiss on a sleeping princess and poke someone's breast…>

She paused for a moment and sighed. <Hah…>

Yman froze on the spot and thought he was dead. He underestimated his deity's anger. Looks like he needed to soothe her later to avoid having her Like Value reaches the threshold. But before that, he needed to do something to her right now! She was revealing his dark secret!!!

Sistela failed to finish her words when someone suddenly called out.

They glanced in front of them and saw a person in a brown cap and brown long dress. For some reason, he looked like a detective.

"Eh, that's…" Rea seemed to know him.
