Chapter 138: Chapter 135: Anticlimactic
Chapter 138: Chapter 135: Anticlimactic
[3rd POV]
"So, when do you plan on dealing with this "Morgan Edge" guy? He sounds like bad business, even if he is Kal's brother" Kara asked, as they sat at the couch, watching a movie.
It was a couple of days after the visit from Chrissy and Lois, and not really anything had happened to Talia during that time. Whereas the Kents days have been...busy, due to Tal-Rho aka Morgan Edge, aka Kal's brother, causing some serious issues for them. Like transferring the consciousness of a Kryptonian into the mind of Sarah Cushing's father, Kyle, and all sorts of other people that he had affected through this.
"Probably by the end of today. He's planning on attacking Clark soon, and that's the best time for me to take care of him" Talia replied, as that was her plan the entire time. She was going to canon play out a bit while she enjoyed life, but once it got big enough, she'd take care of the problem herself.
She wasn't going to kill the man or anything, as she knew he was genuinely redeemable (as shown in season 2), so she planned on simply beating the hell out of him, and then letting Clark deal with the whole "Redeeming" crap that he was going to do either way.
Leslie Lar, his main accomplice, would be locked up for the rest of her life, though. Thankfully the guy wasn't really the brightest, so there wasn't any crazy backup plans or others he worked with. Well, besides this thing called "The Eradicator" that contained the
consciousness of every Kryptonian from this universe within it, or at least, the ones that had been alive during the destruction of Krypton, and were able to upload their conscious in the first place.
"And what are you going to do after that? Cause you do know that Lois's dad is going to cause a fuss over your appearance, right?" Clary asked, as she remembered what Talia told them about the Sam Lane of Kara's universe, and how he was an insufferable douche. Thankfully, the Sam of this universe was MUCH better, and was actively getting over his whole "I don't care unless it's for the betterment of America and its citizens" thing he had going on in the beginning.
"While the man might be...annoying, he's not nearly as awful as the one from Earth 38, so he won't be much of an issue. And I somehow doubt that Lois will be okay with her Dad questioning me so much, and even if she isn't, I can deal with the man easily enough" Talia replied with a shrug, not really all that worried about the man.
"For now though, I'd rather enjoy this movie with my adorable girlfriends, if that's not a problem" Talia added, causing the girls to smile and lean back, deciding to enjoy the moment before Talia had to run off and be a hero.
'I have a feeling this will be about as easy as I am expecting it to be'
[Later that day]
Later in the day, after they had finished the movie, and the girls were munching on dinner, Talia began to hear the sounds of booming in the distance. The sounds of the sound barrier being broken by over two dozen individuals.
"Talia, is that-" "Them? Yep, seems it's time for me to go" Talia said with a small sigh as she stood, her hero outfit forming around her. The same as the one from Kara's Earth, except it glowed slightly brighter, due to her divinity strengthening over the past few weeks.
"And you're sure you don't need me to come with you?" Kara asked, worried. She didn't want Talia to get injured, as she knew from Talia, that the Kryptonians of this Earth were much stronger than on hers, like...much stronger.
"Nah, I'll be fun, love. I can control solar radiation, remember? Taking down Tal-Rho will be easy, and the rest of them will naturally be taken out by your cousin" Talia responded, knowing that Kara was just worried about her safety.
Leaning down, she softly pecked her on the lips, causing Kara to blush beat red, before Talia moved and kissed the rest of them.
"I'll be back in a couple of hours, okay? And when I'm back, I'll make some dessert with the strawberries we harvested yesterday" Talia said with a small smile, as their eyes lit up with excitement, knowing that the strawberries were going to be turned into a masterpiece, as usual.
"Off I go" Talia muttered, before disappearing with a flash of light, as her suit fully formed around her, obscuring her facce from therest of the world.
In the skies above Smallville, a "Small" battle was going on. Superman was racing around, a large glowing device - The Eradicator - was in his hands. Chasing him was roughly 20 humans possessed by Kryptonians, beams of heat vision barreling past him as he dodged them the best he could.
As he flew higher and higher into the skies, he gripped the Eradicator and placed it in the way of the heat vision of all of the Kryptonians, adding his own in. As the process that would erase their minds from the humans, was by charging the Eradicator with enough energy to undo the effects...sort of. It was complicated Kryptonian science that really didn't make much sense, but it was best not to question it.
As more and more energy poured into the Eradicator, courtesy of the Kryptonians who were continuing to blast it with their Heat vision (not on purpose) a final burst of energy slammed against it, a bright golden one, as a bright blue explosion emenated from it, launching Clark and the Kryptonians back. The source of the golden blast? Talia, who was floating next to them in her suit, as she safely placed the now humans back onto the ground, while a deep red glow blasted off of her, hitting directly against Tal-Rho, knocking the man unconscious before he could even react.
Not wasting another moment, she grabbed the Eradicator from the shaken Clark, and promptly placed it in her inventory.
"Who-Wha-" "Solaris. And as for the Eradicator, I destroyed it. No one will have to worry about it anymore. Your brother's alive, just unconscious, as are the rest of them" Talia spoke, cutting the man off before he could ask any questions.
[Hidden Quest complete]
Tal-Rho, more like Tal...don't?
Details - Defeat Tal-Rho. Due to defeating him earlier than in canon, the user receives a
larger reward.

Save the Entire world once - 25 Levels
[Completed by stopping Tal-Rho from bringing the Kryptonians back, who would have eventually destroyed the world/taken it over]
'Huh...not bad. It looks like I'm gonna have to finally claim all those levels, once this is all over' Talia thought, pleased that she was finally finished with all the major quests that have been assigned in this world, meaning she could solely focus on enjoying life, once she claimedNôv(el)B\\jnn
them.
Staring the Man of Steel down as they floated in the sky, Talia awkwardly coughed and spoke. "So...wanna talk?"

Give some ideas for subclasses and main classes. Main class wise, she'll get some new ones,
while the subclass will be entirely focused on production based classes, scientific stuff,
farming, etc.
Not sure how well this was made, as I am...tired, so it might not be the best, and for that I am
sorry. Next chapter will be longer.
Anyways, have a good day!
