The Mysterious Black Magician

After leaving the palace, Yman and Rea encountered some people in suspicious attire. But Yman dealt with them quickly, using his first model bee fire dolls. 

After the empress brought them in a more secluded room, their conversations became more serious. It was about the coming danger and a possible war.

Yman was just listening to the empress. Then he noticed Rea was wearing a grimy expression. No need to ask the reason for the expression on her face as he could guess. She was worried about the war.

Next, the empress warned them about the possible abduction attempts on Rea. Yman could only listen while the empress was telling them about the additional information regarding it.

Yman slightly admired the empress's gathering of information.. He wondered how the empress was able to acquire such information. Later, he shook his head. It was natural to send spies to the neighboring country to gather the informations.

Yman tried to ask for some advice regarding Rea's safety. "Mr. Crimson, Rea honey, I think you should leave the academy temporarily," said the empress in low voice. It was certain that she was worried about her niece.

Although she was an empress of the empire, she was fighting a war on all fronts, from the inside and outside.

Looking at the other's perspective, the empire looked harmonized. But in truth, the main family and the palace were secretly fighting.

The house of Duke was plotting unceasingly towards the empress. So, even though she wanted to save Rea, she could not because her hands were full of all the empire's crises.

Even Yman noticed the empress predicaments just looking on her face. Look, black circles were below her eyes. Although the empress was wearing makeup to hide it, it was still discernible when he focused his eyes on it.

"Un, your majesty, do you mean… the enemy had an inside access to the campus?" He asked.

"Mhm!"

"I see, so that's why…" Yman said.

"What do you mean, Mr. Crimson?"

"Actually, this morning, about 3 or 4 AM, some people were able to enter Rea's room, your majesty."

"Really?" The empress exclaimed in surprise. "Then, what happened? How did you handle them?" Just seeing that Rea and Yman were present now and fine, it was easy to guess that they dealt with them.

"We caught them." 

As expected, she was right. Then she asked about those abductors.

"We had no idea, your majesty. Hopefully, those people from the Department of Security gave them a proper verdict."

"I see. That's good. Regardless, I'm more at ease if you hide for the time being. And stay away from the campus for a while."

The empress handed him a bracelet. He asked about it, but the empress's reply was only a shrug. Then, "A lucky charm," she said with a wink. Rea sighed while slightly shaking her head. Her aunt acted out of her age once again.

"Haha…" Yman laughed descendingly while scratching the side of his face.

After it, they finally left the palace. Rea asked Crimson if they could go back to the campus first as she needed to retrieve some of her stuff. He nodded.

While they were traveling, riding his Hell Chaser Bird, he tried to ask her of someplace that she wanted to go after this.

Rea told her some other places. But before that, they sped up towards the campus.

After defeating the suspicious individuals who tried to chase them, they proceeded to their destination. Thus the two of them arrived at the campus.

They first went to the student council and asked for a leave of absence for the two of them. Princess Liya and Hannah tried to question Rea. She told them her situation. Well, the two of them already knew her circumstances. Next, they asked her if she would come back. Rea nodded.

"When?" They asked again.

"It's uncertain. Maybe, when everything's calm down."

"I see. Good luck."

"By the way, your cousin will be absent too?"

Princess Liya suddenly asked.

"Eh, ah… mhm…"

She nodded.

They asked her where she would be going. But Rea and Yman had yet to decide about it.

Rea temporarily bid farewell to her cousin and best friend with a sorry face. When she went out of the student council room. She saw Crimson talking with Damian.

But when Crimson saw her, he walked towards her. "Let's go?" He asked.

The two of them went to the Little Garden next. When they arrived, everyone was very busy. Achan and the others were still helping in handling the Purification Elixirs.

They heard that the monsters from the miasma were still attacking at the Narrow Pass.

They also heard a piece of good news from Airi. "Really? The Little Garden Department managed to enter the rank 200?!" Rea asked in surprise. "Yes, yes, Miss Ella. It was thanks to Crimson!" Airi said in excitement.

Yman scratched his head. 

Although rank 200 was the farthest, it was still better compared to their no rank status before.

Rea chuckled. 'Well, this guy is full of surprise,' she thought. Yman asked Airi about the professor. "He's inside, Mr. Crimson."

After Crimson left them, Airi asked Rea about Cinde. Rea fell silent and thought. "S-She will be coming tomorrow. I guess."

"I see… that's good."

Crimson, on the other hand, went to visit Professor Ronnie's workroom. As expected, he was replicating the Purification Elixir. He felt bad that he could not help him.

Though he already handed the recipe for that elixir. Since the professor's alchemy's skill already reached the Advance tier, Gentle Hand, it was just easy for him to replicate the elixir.

Yman did not bother the professor and went to the Artificial Garden. He saw the golden bee and a spider sleeping in one of the trees. Inside the spider was the second wisp.

Silently, he took a magical herb and plant then stored them in his Cyber storage. After collecting the herb and plant, he went back and saw Airi still talking with Rea on the sofa. Yman asked Airi regarding the Tampering Elixir. After getting the elixir sample and recipe. The two of them said their temporary farewell to Airi and the others.

While inside the campus, his 5d-Seer continued ringing. Looks like many Rankers wish to challenge him. But Yman disregarded it. There was a more pressing matter that they were currently facing.

They visited the adventurers guild next. Before they flew towards the destination of HCZ7. It was the destination that they chose.
