The Mysterious Black Magician

Almina's opponent was a girl from Section B+. It also means that she was pretty powerful. Before going to the stage, she stopped in front of him. "Uh…" Yman noticed Almina trying to say something but skeptical. He had no idea what she wanted to say, but she was looking at him.

"Good luck…" he said before she could say something.

"….."

"Almina…" he added.

After Yman called her name, a flush of redness was visible on Almina's face, "I will!" Almina replied enthusiastically. Then she climbed up on stage.. After Almina left, Bob and Chloe asked him about his relationship with Almina.

Yman, who had no idea what they were talking about, tilted his head. "I think we are considered as friends…" Beside him, Maena sighed, and Keremi, who was standing behind him, chuckled at him. "As expected of my prince," he whispered.

Bob and the others gawked at his reply. Kesha and some members of their party glared at him. Although he could feel their piercing glances, he chose not to be bothered by it.

When Almina went to the stage, everyone felt silent. The onlookers, the other participants, and even those in the VIP room.

As expected of Miss Almina, her presence could take away everyone's attention.

Rea, who was in the audience area together with Yana, was looking at the familiar person on the stage. It was the girl who suddenly hugged Crimson.

She wondered what their relationship was. She forgot to ask him about it. Also, she could not bring herself to ask him regarding it. She felt shy for some reason.

This girl with the nickname of The Black Princess, she was well, not bad. Now, let's see about her strength. Rea thought.

Beside her, Yana noticed her unease as she was staring at the stage. "Uhm, Miss Rea, are you okay?"

"?!?"

Rea was slightly startled after hearing her name mentioned by Crimson's sister. "Uh, eh, yes, yes!" She replied while repositioning herself.

Yana blinked her eyes. Her brother told her that Rea was an important person. Regardless, she must do as her brother said, not to lose her sight of Miss Rea.

"Miss Rea, do you know her?" Yana asked once again.

"Uh, wh-who?"

"That person on stage…" Yana asked her while pointing to Almina. She also peeked on Rea's face, to see her reaction.

Bead of sweat was visible on Rea's face. She wondered why Yana asked her about that girl.

"Uh, no—" 

She was about to reply when a person beside them suddenly called out to them. 

"You two!"

Yana and Rea glanced at the same time. They saw an old lady. She was on Yana's left side. She was sitting with a slight curve back.

When the old lady noticed their eyes on her, she continued talking. "Are you acquaintances of Miss Almina?" The old lady asked.

"Almina?" Rea repeated with a frown.

"She was talking about her," Yana answered while pointing to the girl on the stage. She knew about Almina's name because she came to visit her brother in the hospital together with other girls. Though, she could not remember all their names.

Rea and Yana shook their heads at the old lady's question towards them. "No, we aren't, Aunt," said Yana. She said Aunt with respect towards the old lady. Yana's voice was soft and respectful.

"I see…" said the old lady. Then, she told them about Almina. She told them how Almina saved the city together with the Ace of the academy. And how she defeated those high-level bad guys who were causing harm in the city's surrounding areas.

While they were listening to the old lady's words, the image of Almina in their minds had started to change. She seemed like a superhero who was wearing a blue costume and red cape.

For some reason, Rea wanted to chuckle. Regardless, this Almina wasn't an ordinary person based on the old lady's words.

On the stage, Almina and her opponent were already staring at each other.

"Miss Almina, before we start our battle, can you tell me why you didn't agree on Kiko Sun's declaration of love?" Said her opponent.

"..."

Amina did not expect such a question from her opponent. "Sorry, but I have no obligation to answer it," she replied with a nonchalant face.

After hearing her reply, her opponent's brow was twitching. Anger was visible on her face. "Don't be so haughty just because everyone was praising you!" Her opponent barked.

Almina stared at her opponent and wondered why she suddenly became angry. She even implied that she was acting haughty, which Almina could not understand how she was like that. She didn't answer her because it wasn't worth her time. 

Seeing no reaction from Almina, her opponent summoned a bow. "I am going to defeat you!" She bellowed.

Maena, who was watching from the waiting hall with the others, had narrowed her eyes. She wondered how Amulet was going to deal with someone using the same weapon as her.

After her opponent summoned a bow, they saw Almina materialized a sword. It wasn't an ordinary sword, though.

It was her fire elemental sword. Well, in a real battle, you couldn't say that your opponent was cheating by using a better weapon. A strong individual was both strong in strength and wealth. So if your opponent has better equipment than you, you only have yourself to blame, and you couldn't excuse yourself saying it wasn't fair after you lost the battle.

Because in a real fight, there were no rules!

After the signal to start the fight, everyone's eyes were on Almina. After all, she was the most popular fledgling trainee in this city's Academy. A person who can defeat an opponent with higher-Level than her. 

Her figure disappeared in an instance after the signal.

"Eh, where is she?"

While everyone was astonished at the sudden disappearance of Almina Amulet, Yman eyes widened in disbelief. 'She can use Rapid Leap successively,'
